I would never deal with them again, I would not reccomend my friends to go there I wouldnt even reccomend a person I dislike to go there.

So I called them bc I found them on Kijiji, when you speak to them on the phone other than being a little loud everything sounded professional and great! Price wasnt the best but wasnt the worst. I decided I wanted to spend a little extra on my SRX to have better service than my previous cars.

So I get my brother to take me over there as he wanted a quote on getting some work done pending the completion of mine. He told me to come to his "condo" which I guess kinda pacified my thoughts of bringing this to someones rental apartment. Get there well I find out its rental spaces. I asked ALOT of questions and explained I had been ripped off before and also explained I would want to check all the work after completion. Everything was explained to me that would be done. I paid for a module, ANT adapter, Dash kit and the labour of course. I was really hesistant because I wasnt allowed to go down in the garage under the building to see what they were working on. I was assured bc Ganesh to me that they were working on many cars for teh dealership so the liability was too high.

I left my car and at around midnite it was complete (as scheduled) I go there to pick my car up Ganesh is waiting in the parking lot in my car, walked me thru the deck and its settings showed me the EXTERIOR work ex. the mounting kit finish. I said thanks and was on my way. As I was driving my airbag light came on, the my CEL I immediately call him and he says it cant be as they installed the module. I said ok we will deal with it tommorow.

I pull into my driveway, put the car in park turn the car off, well now the key wont come out. I try for 3-5 minutes call him back. Ganesh tells me they did nothing with the ignition wires. I said that was too much so I drove out to him. After a bit of hesistation he got the key out, and in dis belief he said he didnt kno what was going on.

The next day I take my truck to the Cadillac dealership, they tell me that the CEL and Airbag lights are both because of the after market deck. I call him back. He says he needs to speak to Metra (manufacturer of the kit) Callls meback saying this cant be, it must be a defective unit. I said I can completely understand that. He said I would have to pay him to check the module. @ this point its more like WTF?!?!

I call metra, there was no record of him speaking to anyone where and the service dept is 3 people in a small office. So at this point im furious. The dealer wanted 90$ to clear the CEL light the airbag light would be another $80. I called Ganesh they agreed to give me back $80 after a lengthy heated discussion. Well Metra advised me how to open the dash properly and to check what model # was used in the car. in doing so I found they had cut my antena wire and used electrical tape to attach it to the back of the deck, 3 wires werent even insulated at all best of all it was the wrong module he put in there (My caddi has onstar and bose system)

At this point I wanted pretty much all my $ back from him for the work they never did which he refused to do, his wife was calling me cussing me out over it and all Ganesh could say in his defence was that he had an installer do my truck (which I belive is bs) and he was going to fire him. He would not let me speak to the installer when asked and would not take my calls after he hung up with me. A couple of days later I noticed they had shattered my ashtray and covered it up with Electrical tape bc the pastic was black in a low light area. I called hima nd demanded that at very least he would be replacing that. Again his wife with the attitude pretty much threw it at me @ the lobby of thier rental property on top of that walked away as I was speaking to her.

I began with an inital agreement of $310 in parts and 80 labor. I ended up spending another $170 @ the dealer and minimal cost of shipping of the right part from metra (they were kind enough to send me the right one and walk me thru the install process over the phone) and another $30 for the antena adapter that I had already been charged for.

I posted this in hopes it would help someone in thier descion making process down the line.

Hi, is SIDD'S RADIO at 116 Viceroy Road in Vaughan still around??
I had a deck and a couple speakers installed.
Sidd talked me into leaving my Compustar alarm that I had pulled from my old car so that he could upgrade the "Brains" for free since it was an old one as a favour.
I said SURE.
This was nov 2009.!
I completely forgot as time passed and all of a sudden, my wife needs it installed in her car since the compustar has remote start and works with diesel!
So I realize I never heard from him again and he still has my unit.

This was back in June 2011. No response. but in fairness, it might be the wrong email.
I will try the number off the website tomorrow. Hopefully I will have luck! I still have my deck and speakers receipt. It has the same phone numbers as the website.
I tried the "contact" link off the webpage but the validation numbers do not appear for me to confirm I am a "human" to send the message. So this has me wondering if he's still around since the website seems to be lacking any upkeep.

I called. They are still there. (yay)
While he doesn't remember me ( it was 2009 NOV so it's understandable ), he does have my unit there with 1-2 missing
little items that he said he will get for me and all should be good!
I'm very glad, that way I can save some $$ on buying a whole new kit! Just the cost of the install for me. ($150 on a VW 2005 PASSAT TDI) with a key fob needed.
