Polar Command starter issues, starter does not disengaged
Hi there,
I recently bought a car that was equipped with a 5 button polar command starter installed. You push the starter button and the car starts but the starter does not disengage and will shut off the engine after 10 sec. Is there a setting somewhere to adjust to time out the starter function? I do not have the original manual.
Thanks

What I need you to do first is to tell me what type of polarstart remote starter is in there. Your going to have to look for the brain under the dash and tell me the model number of the unit, its on the back of the brain. The brain is black in color.

It is a PS 3015SH. Noticed when starting it with the remote that the tach does not move until the key is inserted. Don't know if this make a difference. I guess all it is looking for a a signal from the tach that the engine is running.
