we complain that shows are failing. We hear about people asking how to find out when and where shows are happening I would tell them canadian car audio forum and since i have been in to SPL this forum is where I would come to but it seem every thing leads to money talks thought this forum was to support the car audio and spl charging to post show info just adds to more fustration for those who do put on shows. will not say how much I heard is being ask to post shows but in my oppinion it a little steep.

There is a cost involved. I found that out when I tried to post show information. But I can understand that this website is here to make money, and not necessarily to help people with car audio. But they have made it free to put show information on the event calender. Which seems to be an ok way of doing it. So if you have a show that your hosting, have it put on the calender. That's what I had to do.

Dave.
Where to begin, these gripe posts are getting old. After this, no more please. If you cant control yourself, use the private message feature.
CanadianCarAudio.Com is the #1 source for car audio information is Canada. That won’t change. To advertise your shows you must be a vendor. Vendor rates are cheaper than when the previous owner had the site by $10, there is also double the traffic and almost 1000 new users.
If a company is interested in advertising their event, they must become a vendor. That means they operate their business like our current sponsors on here. This is a super deal for them, however if they do not want to capitalize on it, I can’t force them.
These same companies can post via print media, I am not their marketing expert, I am my own. They can grow with us, or miss the boat.
Now, I feel the same frustration you do. I often wonder how some shops expect to get users out to an event if there’s no exposure. I try to explain to them the benefits of being an advertiser on a CAR AUDIO FORUM when their main product is car audio, the internet works….
Now, I suppose the issue after the realization that the internet works is the cost. In one basket I have vendors who love it and believe in the pricing, find its fair etc. Then in another hand I have users and some shops who say they cant afford it or don’t want to pay. Ok, so don’t. Just don’t expect your post to stay up.
This is a hobby first and foremost for me. But when you want to affect my current vendors and I get complaints, they must be handled, these people pay for a service and I am here to provide it.

Your last statement is a joke.

5 Things to do on CAFz
1- Use the site search feature
2- Post an introduction in the Intro Area.
3- Upload some pictures of your audio setup.
4- Become a site supporter and remove ads.
5- Check out the Car Audio General Discussion area, get involved!
