Amplifer Help

I recently did some re-wiring and failed to notice that metal casing on my Soundstream DTR1.1700 amp touched the gauge reducer on the power cable coming out of my distribution block and sparked stripping a bit of paint on the amp casing and melted a very small spot on the gauge reducer metal. Would that cause any long term damage to the amplifer it self? the amplifier seems to be working fine and the only external damage was my inline fuse which I replaced....Would it result in any damage to internal circuits? Sound output?

could do, i'd keep an close eye on that amp, even worth taking it out and looking at the guts to see if it has done any internal damage.
