Amplifier Pulsing Subs

I have 2 12in. Subs hooked up in my truck with an 1800watt amp. The system has been working fine for the past week and today it just started making the subs pulse from all the way out to all the way in steadily. I used a 1 gauge wire for the power and ground. The amp is hooked to the remote wire from the head unit. When the sound is on the subs put out noise but they are still pulsing.

turn the headunit off, are the subs still pulsing, i'd say it's getting some sort of interference across the rca's going to the amp. or the rca's have started to come out of either the amp or the back of the headunit. did you change or adjust anything around the same time u noticed the pulsing happening on your subs

also worth checking your wiring for the subs and the amp (ground and fuse holders ect) maybe even take one of the subs out and test them indevidually

Both channels, left and right both do it. I have 0.5ohms from ground to battery and that is just from the meter. I havent made any kind of adjustments to the amp itself. I put a jumper across the remote and +12V power and the subs still pulse. Its pretty steady about once every second. When the radio is turned all the way down the subs still pulse. It was working fine when i shut my truck off and i started it about 2 hours later and thats when it started. There is a constant hum from the subs + the pulsing/thumping. I took the amp apart and checked all the resistors, diodes, zener diodes, capacitors, and jumpers and everything checks out (Im an electronics technician and electrician where i work). I just cant seem to figure out what is causing this all of a sudden

how is the signal going from your headunit to your amp? rca's? have you unplugged just the rca's going into the amp? does it stop the pulsing?
