Help With Flared Port
Hello everyone I need some help with my flared ports please.
I'm trying to figure out what length the two ports need to be to achieve 35 hertz.
The outside dimensions of my box are H 15" W 30" D 22" and MDF width of .75".
I have 2 4" flared ports and my 15" speaker displaces .18 FT3. As well I have some bracing inside the box which adds up to 121.5"3.
I have tried some online calculators to figure out what the length should be but I get different answers on different sites so I do not know which is right if either.
Another question that I have is, if the length is supposed to be 10" and since I have flared ports on both ends do I cut an 8" pipe and each end adds 1"? Or do both ends add up to 1" total so I would need to cut a 9" pipe to achieve 10"?
I am almost finished my box I just filled in my countersunk screws today and sanded a few rough spots. I am not building it at my home but I will take some pictures of the almost completed box tommorow and once its done and painted I will post some more.
Thank you very much for your help I really cannot figure this out on my own

Ok here are some pictures of my box and sub. Today I did some more work after these pics were taken. I have sanded the countersunk screw holes and put silicone in all joining seams other than the top since it is not on yet. I'm going to paint it later on because I have some other projects I need to get started that are more important. But when I do paint Im going to 3 coat primer than mabey 5 coat glossy black and a few coats of clear coat.
So here are some pics of my box, sub RE SXX 15" and my amp MB Quart ONYX ONX1.2000D.

Your vents should have come with some sort of advice about how to compensate for their particular flare rate. As a general guideline, if the length of a standard non-flared vent is to be 10", make a flared vent 11" overall.
Truly, a minor misstep here (+/- 1") isn't going to toss the tuning out the window.
