1 1/2" long allan machine screw attaced to new speaker???

Well i got my DD3512 today opened it up... It looks SWEET! But I noticed a 1 1/2" long allan head machine screw stuck to the magnet. This isn't anything important is it? lol sure hope not

Shouldn't be.... who did you get the sub from? If you got it straight from DD then I'd definitely be giving them a call because it just says something about their lack of quality control.

if you bought it used... then just throw it away

From the small guy who always appreciates new business. The box was a still sealed one from DD. It should have the shipping date from them to me on it, Oct 10 I think it was. So yes, it sounds like nothing important, just a misplaced screw that might have fallen into the box or near the magnet.

thats what I figured, but jsut wanted tobe sure the sub looks great, I should have a b ox made today .
