Passive Radiators?? Q's?
Ok I have these two 12W7's, and 1 blown 13W7. i have stripped the 13 down. and was thinking of using the top end for building some sort of passive radiator for when i use the 2 12s. I have looked it up and it all seems quite complicated to me, IDK. does this have to be in the same box as the powered drivers? or can i have seperate box's for the 12's and one seperate shallow box for the 13? This is going in a 1998 GMC jimmy. 1500 watts RMS total. I would like one 12 on either side built on or above the wheel wells. with the 13 built into the amprack in middle somehow. im just throwing ideas around. i picked up the 12w7's for cheap, and i have the 13 just laying around, i figure i could use it for something one day, maybe now is that time....... anyone?
oh, and dear god i know i know, why the hell am i using JL? well quite frankly i got them for cheap, and they do hit quite nicely. for the price i couldnt go wrong.
