i got a nice socket/tool set from canadain tire. i got a $25 gift card from one of my aunts, and i used it. the sale price was $79.99 from the regular price of $239.99. with taxes and everything i paid $69.99. good price for a 177 piece mastercraft tool set with a life time guarantee on it.

The thing I bought today that I'm probably most pleased with is an Autometer Ultra-lite in-dash tach. Not the 5" Monster tach crap with shift light and a bunch of switches like all the ricers like to have on their Civics but a sweet 3 3/8" one for my truck.
I also got a new AC Delco chrome alternator bracket to replace the crappy, rusted Mr. Gasket one I have now, a new set of Edelbrock Signature series valve covers to replace the dulling "Chevrolet Power" ones I have now, a new air cleaner nut with the Bowtie on it and an Edelbrock fuel filter Oh, and of course the 3545 I bought last week but that isn't really Boxing day stuff

You could tell me I could get somthing for free on boxing day and I still wouldn't go out. Not this guy. The best thing I got today was about a foot of fresh snow at Sun Peaks and a smile from ear to ear.
Good score on the tool set coulter.
IMO all the killer deals, especially electronics are very low end crap that usually has high margins in the first place. Wanna bet there is still 10% or more profit even at the "sale" price?
