Hey guys this doesn't have all that much to do with car audio I was just wondering if anyone could help me I just installed a different cd player into my car and my car was sitting for a while and I went to fire it up because I just put a new alternator into it and none of the windows work and my alarm doesn't work either also the power door lock only work on the front passenger side and the back driver side and the cd player cuts out when i turn on the headlights and when i turn them on the two power door locks i just mentioned open up again I was just wondering if anyone could help me get my car back into shape thanks.

It sounds to me like some of your problem could be that you might be on a dimmer wire at the cd player, as opposed to the ground. Double check that, then go through your fusebox to make sure nothing is blown. Hope this helps you out man.

Dunno man, a lot of a cars functions will run through the head unit wiring. Maybe your car requires a digital interface to gain all those functions back. Best thing to do is take it to your local 12 volt install bay and see what they have to say.
