I'm looking for someone to build me a custom box for my setup. Idealy he/she should be in the east end GTA also I would like to meet up with them personally so we can discuss my setup.
I probably will go with a ported setup as my current box is sealed and seems to lack bottom end (cheapy Q-Logic)
How much should a 12" ported and carpeted box cost??

if you're buying a prefab box, it should cost about 50 bucks or so. but prefab ported boxes aren't a good idea. to get someone (like myself)to make one, you're looking at probly closer to 75 or so. and if you'd like a NICE custom box (IE look at the post of canadian GP's trunk with the pics) it's lots more.

wow, I must charge too much, I start at $200.
I don't build many sealed boxes, all of them have double thick (1 1/2 inch) baffles, lots of bracing etc. I have heard people say I have to be more competitive with the prefab stuff but I say why? by the time I compromise the construction to meet the price, you could have just bought a prefab one and saved us all a few hours of our life.
