1 ounce is equal to .0625lbs.

800(oz) X .0625(lbs) = 50(lbs).

now i have treo csx subs sitting on my floor(beefy spl woofers). and they have 860oz magnets(or something around there) and i can tell you that those kicker subs are WAY less than even 1/2 the wieght of even 1 treo sub!

so inother words, i would say your kickers are around 240-260oz magnets on them.

try www.kicker.com for specs on them

why the hell do you guys use pounds and ounces? why do you guys use that totally stupid US system? honestly....... can anybody answer this without a calucalator? how many ounces is there in a pound? and how many cubic inches is there in a gallon,.. a cubic foot... how about a bushell.. or a cubic yard.... you know? why do you guys use that retarded 400 year old out-dated system. you know? the metric system goes by 10's. There is a 1000 liters in a cubic meter, 1000 cubic centemeters in a liter and so on, even an monkey can use it.

magnet weight isn't as important as the quality of the magnet.
the older solobarics had a stronger magnet than the new solo's(rounds to squares)
my reasoning:
my old solo's, i couldn't walk into the house without screwing up the tv.
however, the new ones i can almost bring the within a few feet without affect.

Neo's NOW THAT'S THE SHIZNIT!!

I think you SPL guys need to do a little research on Curry points as well. Could factor into your application. Magnets can become de-magnetized perminently by excessive heating.(thing about that 4kw burp to the voice coil)
