I am looking to buy a new single din cd/mp3 player receiver. I am looking for one that will play mp3s. But one feature that is important. I want one that will play an mp3 file, then when I stop and shut off the ignition, it will turn off. Then when I return to the vehicle, it will began to play where it left off. I don't want one that will start over at the beginning of the mp3 file. I listen to a lot of files that are 30-45 min long, and don't want it to start over each time I start the truck.

Do the CD/mp3 receivers do this. If so which brands & models? This one feature is important to me, all the other features are just extra compared to this.

I also would like it to have an sd/micro sd slot and usb port. That way I can put the files on and leave it in the truck. I keep the files in folders by artist, CD title, file name. So any that would be easy to find a particular mp3 would be a big plus.


Anyone know, or can check theirs? Thanks in advance.

Every deck that I've owned has done what you ask. Kenwood, pioneer, alpine etc.
