Would anyone know if the Rca line-out (-) is reference to ground??

For example:
Clarion Drx9255 ... is floating
Alpine 7909 ... is grounded
Apogee DA1000E ... is floating

Anyone???

to test it..... all you have to do is measure the deck chasis to the rca ground for continuenity.
