Pioneer Champions?

I bought two Pioneer champion 12's from a buddy for 90 bucks. hooked them up to my small 250.1 kicker amp, and they didnt do much. would a bigger amp make them "come to life" or are my hopes set too high for these subs

125 watts per sub isn't much. I'd probably double up the power. Also, what kind of box are they in?

Its 250 per sub. In parallel. Its 2.6ft3 roughly per sub ported at roughly 40hz.

All kicker 250.1 amps I know are 250 watts at 2 ohms, which would give you 125 per sub. The Box should be good. Also, what ohms are the subs? single 4 ohm? Dual 4 ohm?

If they're dual 4 ohm they will either be wired to 1 ohm (which could damage the amp), 4 ohms (so you'll be getting 125 watts to the pair of subs, so 62.5 each), or 16 ohms which would be useless. Double check the wiring. It will be done like one of these ways:

Rockford Fosgate® - Woofer WiringWizard

Either way the amp you have is not the correct one for those subwoofers.

This same box and amp power my 2 kicker comps hard. Like i dont beliee the subs are capable of hitting harder. They hit pretty hard. So i put in the pioneers and they wasnt half of what the kickers do

The kicker subs could probably have used a larger amp as well.

They are only rated to 150. Its their bottom end subs. What amp would you reccomend? Also if you will maybe explain the basics on amps and wiring to equal such power u know? So i can tell bymyself how many watts my subs get
