Pioneer Premier TS-W1207D Question.

I'm planning to put two of these baby in my Toyota Celica GTS 1994. I think i will be putting them in a sealed enclose. These subwoofer are rated 400 watt rms 1200 watt peak. Would you recommend 1 amp for each subwoofer and 1 amp for both subwoofer. Wich ohm load i should get, 2 or 4 ohm. I want to get a good SQ without distortion. It's for a daily driver not for competition. I don't want to spend 1500$ on a subwoofer kit (including everything). What amp would do recommand to put on these sub ? Do they like to be underpowered or overpowered? Or they like to have the exact amount they are rated for? I don't want to blow them in 2 month.

I was planning to get 2 Pioneer GM-D7400M amplifier because they are 400 watt rms @ 2 ohm. And i could get them for 150$+tx from a store where i live.

Do you have any other suggestion? I'm open to anybrand since it's good and i can buy it somewhere.

Go to a single amplifier as it will save you space, save on wiring, save on possible noise issues with other equipment. The sub you choose is going to determine the amp you get. 500w rms is more than enough power on a pair of those subs to get them playing to a more than respectable level. If you go to the dual 4 ohm subs, you will ideally be after a mono amp that makes it's maximum output at 1 ohm.

What do you think of Exile amplifier? Some people told me it's the creator of Phoenix Gold that created this brand.

X600.2 Amplifier seems pettry good for the price. 2 x 300 watt rms @ 2 ohm. That would suit the subwoofer pettry well.

Would you recommand this amplifier?

Edit: Another question. What is the difference between TS-W307D and TS-W1207D. The spec of these sub are identical, the only difference is one is champion serie and the other is not. Deos it really worth buying Champion Serie?
