Question About AMP & Speaker Setup

Hi guys,
I need some help on connecting my subs to my amp. I have a Sony XM-DS1600P5 (I know it's not the best one), but there are saying 1 x 2ohms output, but I have 2 places to connect my speakers. My question is, do I connect my speakers in series on 1 coonector or do I connect them on each connector if I have 2 subs of 2ohms each ????
