Yep, I dig AVG. I got a new comp, installed XP (of which I do not like and am installing Windows2000 this weekend), was on the internet for like 3 days and it found viruses on my machine. I don't go to questionable sites but I know my wife isn't super email/virus savvy. Anyway, one thing I wasn't happy with is that AVG found the viruses but couldn't fix those particular ones. Norton freeware did not find ANY of them. Trying out McAfee found the same viruses and told me about them. But, they don't have a freeware version, just a free scan so they are still on the computer but will be wiped out when I format the hard drive and reinstall Windows.

good notice......and semi off topic, but i rather like AVG virus scanning software, kept me virus free for almost a couple years now....then again i don't open those 80kb emails sayin "a gift for you" or anything like that
