I've had mine for 2 years and still really enjoy them. They're not THE best sounding drivers I have heard but they sound great and take a kicking like nothing else. I run 300rms to each 6.5" midbass, and 75rms to each 4" and each tweeter and to date have had no problems. Very few speakers sound good LOUD - and these ones love it.

thanks dude which speakers have you heard are better? I have had quart reference components for about a year and like them a lot, would the mtx be better? Plus i am looking at using mtx 7500 or 8500 series sub with an mtx for this whole setup with the alpine 9887, is there anything better for the money than this setup?

I have Polk's SR6500 and let me assure you that these are amazing SQ speakers. If thats your goal, I highly recommend these. They can usually be found for a great price too (as opposed to the $1000 MSRP).
