Kingwood Speakers Static

Hi, I have just installed a new car audio system with the following components:

Dell-xps-8500 solid state computer
Kenwood KAC-7201 800W amp
KINGWOOD (1000W, 4ohm) speakers
Samsung tab s 8.4 as head unit and remote control running Vectir Remote Control for Android

This all works fine but there is an annoying static sound coming from the Kingwood speakers. Does anybody have any experience with this brand? I know they sound like a Kenwood rip off but I've reached my budget for this project and picked them cheap. My friend who is a bit more clued up than me did some ground loop checks and said it all looked OK.

I just tried some Kenwood speakers I borrowed from a friend and the static is still there so I guess that rules out the speakers. Currently looking into noise filters.
