Jennifer Warnes - Famous Blue Raincoat (20th Anniversary Edition). My old original version started to skip (I played it 1001 times), so I looked around for another copy. Found a remastered 20th Anniversary Edition of it. Nice recording. Worth checking it out. Difference is subtle, but to guys like Joe, it's probably huge.

Here are some my favourites. They have a wide and lush frequency range modern or just incredibly well recorded classics.
I work as a sound engineer. I've used these tracks to tune studios and LIVE rigs as well my car.
Angel - Massive Attack (Mezzanine) (The perfect mix of sub bass with live drums)
Canned Heat - Jamiroquai
Digging in the dirt LIVE - Peter Gabriel
Beautiful Day - U2
Ends-Everlast (The bassy layered vocals sound absolutey nuts on a good system)
Very Well Produced Classics
Michael Jackson - Thriller
Buffalo Soldier - Bob Marley
Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits
Dreamer - Supertramp
Fly Like and Eagle - Steve Miller
Every Breath you Take - The Police
World in my Eyes - Depeche Mode
Superstition- Stevie Wonder
Anything by Enya
Fade in you - Mazzy Star
Some of these older songs had a lot less compression added to them and aren't as loud as modern songs, but if you have enough power in your system to compensate, they have wonderful dynamics and are amazing mixes.
