dont know, im still new to all this, i figured it was an old car it would be a good idea to do something about the battery, right now all I have is the sub, i picked up for a deal in a half a while back, still researching and stuff,
so I should get an extra battery?

for 2000 watts rms i dont think you would need an extra battery unless you were planning on running it with the car off.
search The Big 3 topic on here written up by Father Yuli and do that for sure. It will be your best bet.
Upgrade your battery under your hood. And I think that work alone would be good enough for your setup. But I could be wrong. Someone will correct me if I am.
Because I dont think 2000 watts is enough power to kill your battery.

Nah you don't need any more than the big 3 done. In my Cavi I had 2k on the subs and another 460 on the fronts and just a new battery underhood and it performed flawlessly for almost 2 years. You are definately going to want 0ga power wire at that level.
