2004 Chevy Aveo new stereo will not power on
Hello, I just recently bought one of these cheap, crappy 25 dollar XO Vision car stereos. The stereo's input was not the same size at the car's so I cut the wires and spliced them, comparing the old setup to the new wires. I believe I wired everything correctly, the red power wire connects to the "ACC B+" wire. I swiped that wire against some metal and it did spark (it also blew my fuse but I switched it out) so I know it has juice.
When I turn on my car, no matter what setting the key is in I cannot turn the stereo on. Any suggestions?

First thing to do is to make sure you have 2 forms of 12 volts at the stereo harness your orange wire of the car is 12 volt constant and your yellow wire is 12 volt switched (Accessory). Ground is black, these 3 wires are mandatory for your stereo to turn on.
If these wires are hooked up and hooked up properly your deck will turn on, if it doesn't check and see if there is a fuse on the back of the deck, that may need replacing. If there is no fuse the deck is the fault.

EDIT: Nevermind the speaker question, I re-read your response.
second edit: So my red wire on the deck (ignition B+) should be wired to constant or switched?
