Hi I am new to all this sound setup and stuff for cars and I recently just upgraded my front door speakers. I am looking to power them with a two channel amp but I am unsure what power amp I need. I running them currently off a stock hu. The speakers are 6.5" and their input rating is 40w. I don't know if that is rms or not. Their peak power is 260w. Any help would be appreciated.

 

what brand/model head unit? what brand/model speakers? what kind of car? what kind of budget?

are you installing or having it professionally done?

 

any decent brand 30-50 watt/ channel will work fine.
