Help installing new Mono block amp!!
#1
I am adding a mono block to my system and I'm a little unsure how to handle the wiring. My current amp has a 8g wire setup with a 30amp inline fuse, my RF 301x will only accept that gauge. My new mono block needs a 4g setup with a 60amp fuse. How would you handle this install??
My thoughts, I would get a 4g amp kit and a combo fused distro block (does one even exsist that fits my needs?) I would have 4g from battery 60amp inline fuse to distro block. The distro block would have a 60 and 30 amp fuse that would feed my 2 amps, with 4g to mono block and 8g to the RF. Is this a reasonable solution or am I way off?

You have it correct except you want to put a 90a inline fuse at the battery.
