How to wire two subs to mono amp

I have two Audiopipe xXx 12's and an MRP-M850 Monoblock. I am not sure what any ohms to either of these are and i dont know if i need to wire series or parallel or even how to wire either of those i just know i have two hookups to my box and one to my amp. Could anyone give me some info on what I should do?

the first thing you need to find out is what impedance your subs are , also research what power your amp makes at what impedance , if you dont have a multi meter , go to your local shop , and have them put theirs on the subs , this will be the best way to get the most out of your stereo

The amp is rated at 800w x1 @ 2ohm and 400w x1 @ 4ohm

I found another site of my exact sub package, but all it says is peak 1200w. Im not sure if thats for both or what. It also tells the amp it is supposed to come with but all it says is 1200w x1 channel rated power. Is it possible it doesnt have any impedance?

EDIT
It seems like they should 1200 peak each @ 4ohms. I cant find any place that says the RMS.

you wont be able to tell unless you put a multimeter on the coils of the subwoofer to see what impedance you have , yes you have an impedance lol , try looking under the amp for a number ,

once you know your impedance you can use this site to show you how to wire your sub to the proper impedance

if you have 2 dual 4 ohm subwoofers , and your amp is stable at 1 ohm then wire your subs down to 1 ohm just check the diogram of the link above

Well thanks for all the info guys but i decided to get a different sub system. Im selling the xxx's. I already bought a RF 12" P3S with the rockford truck box that comes with. Was that a good choice.

Also it is a 4ohm at 400RMS, Would it fit my Alpine. It is supposed to be rated at 500 watts rms at 4ohm if its at 14volts. How many volts will my car push it if i have a stock alternater

rockford makes good stuff , and has been around since the begining of car audio , if you have a dual 4 ohm subwoofer you would probably be running at 2 ohm , if its a single coil youd have 4 ohm , 500 watts would be plenty for that sub , you should be happy with the outcome
