Looking to add an extra set of components

Hey all,

My Alpine CDA 9856 has only 3 outs (FRT/RR/SUB), however, I would like to add a second set of component speakers in the rear doors to compliment the ones in the rear deck (behind the seat).

I am looking for the most effective way to install these extra speakers. Here's some of my ideas:

1) Just hook up the wires for the new speakers with the existing ones (2 ch)
2) RCA splitters to a 4ch amp

Any help is appreciated,
Adam

if you just hook the up to your rears that will drop the ohms

why dont you hook the up the the rear speaker wires on the deck

or better yet hook the rear deck speakers to the deck and the new components up to the amp

(this it assuming you already have you speaker hook to an amp)
