MLV Replacement
Hello all,
I am looking to reduce the amount of road noise in my Legacy Wagon and ended up reading lots of good information so I signed up to get some input
I have the Peel and stick from B-quite and about 25 square feet of their MLV with foam.
I realized that I will need more to do every thing I want so I decided to see if I could find some MLV locally with no luck. I don't want to spend another $300 on this
So here is my idea you can by heavy black carpets that you see in entrances at home depot etc. And I was wondering if anyone had successively used them?
Thoughts?

lead sheet.. better than MLV.
if u can find something that u can use that is 1lb sq.ft. u are good to go. just make sure u decouple it from the car, like a yoga mat would do the job and its cheap.
but ya i tried that foam crap and it didnt do nothing. anything to block road noise will have to weigh 1lb sqft or more
