    Sounds like you got a dud. No problems with mine, I can also get the volume I want. Never shut down once.

    If they get really hot they wil automatically lower the volume. Perhaps your agains are set to high or you have inadequate power or a bad ground.

    Hey,
    I was wondering if you've had any problems with your sony 4Ch amps.
    I have the same one and have had tons of problems. It used to shut off all the time, it stopped doing that.. now it just seems to underpower my speaker, my speaker doesn't even seem louder than my old stocks running off an old alpine deck.
    do they get really loud for you?
