polarstart remote starter problems
#2
there is a possibility the remote starter is damaged, the starter should of been in valet mode before the actual jump starting happened. Check the two 30 amp fuses from the six wire main harness from the starter brain, if blown replace them and press the lock button on the remote and see if there is parklight response. If the fuses are fine you then need to re-program the starter. You'll need the install manuel to do this, there are 3-4 sections of programable features that have to be addressed.

the led on the antenna is blinking is that what you mean? look at the back of the brain and tell me the model number of the polarstart as well, if the led is blinking the fuses are fine. It just needs to be re-programmed. What year and make of vehicle is this starter in?

Your next step is to reboot the starter. You have a pinswitch under the hood, now I want you to push down the pinswitch then release it, your parklights will come on, as soon as they come on, press and release the pinswitch again the parklights will stay on for 30 seconds, before the lights go out, go inside the vehicle and pump your brake pedal continuously, your parklights will then start flashing, then will turn off. The starter is reset. Now everything will have to be re-programmed let me know how you made out with the resetting step. I'll explain the other programming once this step is completed successfully.
