What constitutes a clean drivers abstract?

I think it also means no accidents in 5yrs and no tickets in 3yrs? Can't recall the exact times but when I was getting my quotes for Alberta plates I got lucky and all my infractions were just old enough not to count, thus I have a "clean" record and got cheaper plates!

It will show up on the drivers abstract but it also shows the percentage at fault. So the insurance company would be able to see you've had XX accidents none of which were your fault and they probably wouldn't jack up your costs.
But if they see a large pile of accidents even not your fault you might be pushed up as a higher risk simply because you seem to get yourself into situations where you get hit. Hell, some people do **** like that to get stuff fixed on their cars for free.
