If you know who did it, call the police and let them take care of things. There is no use getting involved, all you'll get is an assault/battery charge. Be cool and let the law take care of things, or you'll just wind up in trouble while this goof makes off with your stereo.

The problem with going to the cops is that it will be written down somewhere, but nobody is going to give a or even look at it or the person who you think did it. Even they will tell you that you need evidence. You might as well confront the person. My car was stolen last year - 7" flip-out touch-screen, 1500W amp, atomic APX, sweet box. If I find out who did it I won't be going to the cops. A cop has no right to go up to anybody and say "hey, this person thinks you stole this.." because it just can't be done. Whatever you do, don't get yourself trouble, you might not be positive on who stole it, but obviously people have their ideas, if you met some dumb crackhead highschool kid last week and hung out with him once, he probably did it, it's the fkin way she goes, mostly obvious, and you can't do about it. Those are crappy subs in a crappy box anyways. Now it's time to upgrade with 3 alarms and a steering wheel locker LOL!

Honestly though if you have your suspicions, ask to hang out with the person like everything is cool. If he did it, he'll either say no or act awkward. You should be like mannn someone stole my subs last night. Guage their reaction.

Sorry guys but cops are more like obstacles in these situations.

Dont waste your time going to the cops, they take a report and nothing happens. Even when they know who has the goods. Someone broke into my pops van one day, stole a bunch of his tools (he is a mechanic). He found some of his stuff being sold at a flea market. He bought a few peices back and then took them to a cop that was right there and the cop did F*^$ all. He would have been better waiting till the flea market closed for the day and following the guy home and beating they guy with the same tools that were stolen from him. The lesson here is cops won't do much if there are no donuts in it for them. Just my $0.02.

What we need is a Mobile Electronics Vigilante Group to take care of business.

Instead of wielding pillow cases full of door-*****, it will be filled with OE speaker magnets or some such. LOL

nothing better like in my home country when you can just walk up to somebody and punch him out and throw some kicks in their face.... jumping on their head is usually optional...oh i forgot to add that police wont even write a rapport about that...
