50x50 is 2500 dollars, that doesn't seem so bad. Any idea what it cost to have a sound off like the one your going to.

 

do you mean the cost of putting a show on or the cost to enter the show as a competitor?

 

3x event is usually 1000 plus sanctioning fee 800 to 1000 on trophys prizes swagg food it isnt cheap

 

I think the show this coming weekend is costing somewhere between $4000 and $6000 to put on, as far as entries, it's $50 entry, and $25 for each additional class...(ie: usaci spl =$50, plus IDBL=$75 etc.)


this weekends show has a 3x points Iasca event with idbl, sq, sqi, bassboxing, and a Usaci 3x points event with sq(I think). I dunno about street beat, but I hope so.

 

So if you do spl and sq formats, it will cost a competitor at least 100 dollars to compete, holy moley!!!!

 

2 sanctions with a 3x points show prolly around 2000 just in sanction fees. $100 is minimal for a long day of fun, and trophies to show for it. I know I van drink $100 worth of booze at the pub in about 3 hrs, so I'd say that's a way better investment for a day filled with fun.

Also it was the western canadian finals.....not some single point meet in the alley of a shop.

 

as will said u go drinking for a night its 100 to 400 plus why not take home a trophy and meet some great ppl , if 100 dollors to have your vehicle judged by a judge from trinidad or to have your vehicle tested at a 3x event is to much then stay home
