I thought that I'd just post to include all the information we have at this time.
To get to Angus, take the 400 north from toronto, and turn off at the exit that says "CFB Borden/Angus. This exit is in Barrie. The event will be on that road, about 15 minutes from the highway, in Angus, on the Left hand side of the road.
The main even will be a single point dBdrag, with the new mics.
Classes will include:
Street A, B, C.
open street max (may be changed to street max A and B if there are enough people)
open super street (again, may be expanded depending on the number of competitors)
open extreme.
Trophies will be awarded to the highest SPL of the day, and the highest overall street SPL of the day. all other class winners/runners up will get cash prizes and a certificate.
Also, there will be install judging for everyone competing, installs will be judged before entering the dBdrag lanes, or before being judged in the SQ portion.
There will also be an SQ portion of the event, anyone who wishes may be judged on the SQ of their system. This will not be a sanctioned competition, but more just for fun, and for bragging rights.
trophies will be awarded for the best SQ and best install of the day. along with other prizes.
Entry fee is $20, registration begins @ 12:00 noon, and install judging will start as soon as possible, as well, system class decisions will be made during the install judging if anyone is not sure what class they will be in.
Entry fee includes 1 admission to the stag and doe party afterwards, and an additional ticket may be purchased for the discounted price of $5
There will be a snack/food bar available all day long.
The stag and doe will be licenced (duh) so only those over 19 will be allowed to participate (sorry) we will be holding a scream off during the party, with a trophy, and probly some other prize going to the winner. There will also be a casino event during the party as a fundraiser.
There will be an award for the farthest drive a person made to participate.
if anyone has any other questions, let me know and I'll answer them as best I can.
