Bass Race Battle For CA$H Event #1 - April 26th, Lindsay, ON

Yah yah boys and girls, many of you asked for it and you've got it. Held in conjunction with IASCA and Db Drag Event, on the same date and at the same location.

There will be TWO cash classes, 129.9 and 139.9. If you wish to participate, you are required to pay $15 to be registered for Bass Race (that goes to the host of this event, i keep none of that $15) and EXTRA $5 to be signed up for Battle For CA$H.

Your $5 goes into the pot for whichever one of the classes you select to participate in. There will only be 1 winner per category, he or she will take the whole pot.

So again, Bass Race registration - $15, Battle For CA$H - $5.

Bass Race registration fee ($15) will be paid to whoever is collecting the entry fees at the show (not me) along with all the other IASCA and Db Drag entries.

I will be collecting your $5. Please have 5 dollar bills handy as I am not a corner store and won't have change to give.

What I HOPE to do is to have a completelly separate mic set up JUST for Battle For CA$H participants. This way there wont be any mix up with guys who are not battling for cash, and the guys who are battling for cash will have an opportunity to Bass Race twice. Once against everyone and second time against only cash bass ricers. If you win both you will have a trophy AND some cash!!!

If we are able to secure a separate mic set up, there won't be qualifying runs for the cash battle. You will be manually entered into the class you actually want to compete in.

This is going to be the experimental attempt at Bass Race For CA$H, I will need a good showing and everyone working together to make things flow along quicker at the show. The more of you guys participate in the cash battle this time, the cheaper it will be next time. As simple as that.

This should be good. Many videos will be taken. I know Im no Discovery Channel, but youtube is better than nothing lol.

Can we please get some head count going for people who plan on entering the cash battle and in which class.

PS. I am actively accepting any give aways anyone is willing to donate for cash battle participants and winners.

Man I didn't want to go to this show but now I am compelled to go. I really think you are off track though I think it should be tied directly in with the normal bass race brackets because consistency is the key and even though bass race is cool 8 separate runs is alot

Sweet. Eexcept for the $15 dollars part. That seems a little steep since this show is pretty far. I would hope that going so far will be worth the extra 15 bucks to compete. In any case I'll be there hopefully, and this time I'm gonna win. I just hope for the promoters sake there are a lot of competitors, but I'm a newbie so what do I know?

I just wanted to make sure you were reading it the right way ...
This event is listed as $15 for the Bass Race right from the start ...
Yuli is suggesting $5 extra towards a Cash Pot, on a seperate mic.

It's like a separate competition if you ask me ...

So you can enter the $15 to win some prizes / fame but you can also enter with an extra $5 for the cash pot, to win the pot.

im sure this is the wrong place to post this but because it involves the show in Lindsay......

i was talking to the owner of the local domino's pizza today, if flyers are made up with a domino's cupon attached, every order leaving the store from now til then will have this flyer attached!

this should ensure that locals will know about this show and the cupon would only be valid to those who participate in the event!

good idea eh? can one one this events promoters get in contact with me please!

You're going to have to consult the original thread with the flyer for this month's event for that info.
Short answer: No.
