Bass Warz 2 1x Db Drag Show Run By Nick Cimino And Jay Jones
hey all i might be showing up it will be my first spl comp that i am gonna actually try to pull a nice number.. i have done one iasca spl b4 but my system was well **** i did a 134.9 with 300rms and three 12" alpine type R in a 3cuft sealed box in a ram 1500 truck.
i am building my gfs car this weekend and it will be one 10" AUDIOBAHN AW1006T in a 2.5cuft ported box (unsure what i am gonna tune it to) and 800rms of good clean power and 2 1farad caps stock alt and battery.
my question is will i be competive? or will i get spanked. i am coming from the east end ( 1 hour east of the gta)
also i dont know anything about the rules of DB drag or classes any one able to help me out with that???

ok i just read the dbdrag web site and how i understand the rules is seeing that i have one 10" and one amp that would put me in the "street A"
but because i have two one farad caps that would put me in to "street C"
(rule 6-7F)
am i under standing this right??? if so i know that i will be spanked in "street C" so can i leave the 2nd cap in the car but disconnect the the wires from it? so that i can be in the "street A" i have a custom amp rack and to take the cap off is a pain but i can disconnect the wires to it very easy

In my experience, caps will make you lose between .4 and .8 dB. Depending on the build and the car, you could do very well or terrible; it is too hard to say without knowing any installation details. Not sure on the East, but you have to be breaking a 150 in any of the street classes out West to be competitive.
