I just took the online practice test and got 94% on the First class exam I'll definitely have to think about it, and if i'm serious, I'll take the test. Thanks Dukk!

well IF your not sure if its true then why even bring it up? (key word is IF)

My self, I would never talk about something that I am not sure of first hand, especially when you talking about the credibility of another person.

I have seem a few of your post recently like this. If you dont have first hand knowledge then you shouldnt discuss it.

thats how rumours start dont they.

yeah 5k can buy you more than enough tools

and a great resume heck you can probably brib the manger at some place too if you have too

would say my first year in a shop was worth what I spent in tools ten fold or more and I went in knowning stuff already but nothing like I learned when I started working with a 20 year Vet of the install world

Lets see here, you want to spend $5000.00 for a month or so, tell you what, I for one or pretty much any capable installer (many on this site)would be glad to take you on and teach you hands on for that kind of bread. Hell, you might even end up with a job at the end.

I agree with Rob, nothing beats hands on experience. I have been in this field in the Lower Mainland for well over 15 Years. I have learned more from working with the Best of Best.

Future Shop and Best Buy offer proctorship for MECP Exams to it's staff. That means if you do not yet have your Cert, we can set it up so you will be able to write it via the company.

With that said:

I need some good people to give some jobs to:

For Future Shop,
Kelowna, Abbostford, Calgary, Edmonton.

Best Buy,
Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg.

Like how I squeezed in an add

Email me at cpiccolo@futureshop.com

Thanks

I think an installer school out here is a great idea, no one else has done it yet, and all the power to him. I know him, and I have seen his work, and what I have seen is AWESOME.
