SQ(sound clarity) and SPL(sound loudness) cateegories offered for all levels.
Rookie, Stock, Pro Stock , Advanced , Ultimate categories available.

over 5k in prizes are arriving daily such as component speakers, headunits, 200amp high output aternator, mp3 players and much much more.....tons of car audio shwag and tons of goodies....thanks to clarion, hertz, audison, bassworx, sirius radio, kenwood, kicker, alpine, XM radio, team shadow alternators, etc...
We will be also a 50" Plasma tv on raffle
As well there will be a real live monster truck there occasionaly runnin over my old beat up 91 plymoth laser (i cant wait for that little guy to die )

on behalf of car audio i would like to thank all competitors and sponsors for all of your support for the okanagan thunder 2008 series of events.......without all of your support these things wouldnt happen............at our 5 events this year we had over 200 competitors and countless demo cars on display which renews my faith the car we are doing the right things............there was a ton of fun this year had by everyone and next year looks to be be even more exciting......there are a few people that i would like make special mention of..........first off my staff in kelowna for helping out at not only at all of ours but many other events as well, pat riqulme from our kamloops location for officiating and running the events this year, great job pato......, our sponsors in no particular order......staub electronics, hertz/audison/connection, alpine, panasonic, sony, kenwood, escort radar detectors, lordco autoparts, kicker, sirius satellite radio, clarion, compustar, amd bassworx..........there are a few notworthy competitors that deserve special notice......first of all derek "flash" young for his support of all of our events over the last 15 years or so, 604 autosports for above and beyond with support of our final event of 2008, jeff thornitt for his great support of events and for being crowned canadian champion in daves sq, george dodd because hes a badass competitor who puts tons of effort every year into competing........thank you all again and look forward to seeing you all next year...................dave oakley
