Cranbrook show

is this a for sure show(July 18)???? is it sanctioned??? it's not on the calender here or on termpro. If it is sanctioned, will results be posted??? I am still waiting for Castlegars points(and calgary visions show 2009 for that matter). I don't think I'd want to make the 10ish hour drive if it's going to be like the castlegar turnout...I could be home testing for penticton 3x(which also isn't up on a calander anywhere).

can someone please shed some light on this and any other shows??? I am having a hard time finding a list of local sanctioned and non-sanctioned shows in b.c. I am finding that most have very little advertising and I don't find out about them until the last minute. It's really hard to plan for shows that are 5+ hours away when this happens.

ie: just found out about a show in vernon on the 25th. who else knew about this??

How are we as competitors supposed to support these shops/promoters when nobody knows what's going on??

thanks for any and all help,

Will

yes the 18th is a db drag event in Cranbrook single point, start time 10 am, Vernon on the 25 is also a single point Db Drag event as well. I just found out last night about the Cranbrook show Will as James asked me to help him out, the Vernon show I've known for about 2 weeks but neither show has been posted whatsoever anywhere.

i know in the past that dave has taken care of it and with the new stores opening this year he left it up to the managers of the stores to promote there own shows and by the sounds of it they havent. i just checked facebook there is tons of info on the august 8th and 22nd shows that he is putting on, both should be good

If only people would use the Calender to post their shows months in advance. Now I miss a Cranbrook show because it was not posted :(

I made camping plans months ago because it looked like an open weekend.

Please use this sites Calender or that other Calender but please post the show somewhere in advance. And if your calling it a dB Drag with it not being posted on the site its looks bad on you.

Also I can post your dB Drag results to save Wayne some time, just email me the archived results. No excuse for not submitting results.

I want to attend shows where I can spectate or compete and I cant do that if they are sprung on us all a couple days before it happens.

Sorry for the rant...
