SPL Comp Rules and Classes to Follow

Classes

1-2 woofers Mild
*Must Play Music, NO TEST TONES ALLOWED
*No Competition Grade Equipment
*1500 Watts RMS Max
*Any size woofers allowed (2 woofers max), NO WALLS ALLOWED, Box must be around the window line or lower.
*2 batteries max
*All equipment must stay behind the B-pillar


1-2 woofers WILD
*Test Tones are allowed (between 20 – 80hz)
*Competition grade equipment is allowed
* No power limit
* Any size woofers allowed (2 woofers max), NO WALLS ALLOWED, Box must be around the window line or lower.
* Unlimited batteries/caps
* Enclosure must be behind the B-pillar.

3-4 woofers Mild
*Must Play Music, NO TEST TONES ALLOWED
*No Competition Grade Equipment

*Any size woofers allowed (4 woofers max), NO WALLS ALLOWED, Box must be around the window line or lower.
*2 batteries max

* A wall is any enclosure blatantly over the window line.
*No Woofer Limit
*No Power Limit
*No Install Limit
*Music or Test Tones can be used (20-80hz)
*No Battery Limit


General Rules

The Competition is ran as a Top score wins. EVERY competitor gets 3 runs to achieve there best score. The person with the highest score per class is the winner.

Trophies for 1st-2nd in each class, and every competitor will recieve a printed certificate with event name, date, score and place.


Each round will be 30 seconds long.

All Doors and windows must be shut during the 30 second run. If a competitor opens there door(s), Window, Trunk, ETC, they will be eliminated from the competition.

Engines can be running but cannot exceed 2000rpm.

Attending and registering for ALL Events in series – 10pts

Registering for event – 1pt

Tour Sticker On Vehicle – 1pt

1st – 8 pts
2nd - 7 pts
3rd - 6 pts
4th – 5pts
5th – 4pts
6th – 3pts
7th – 2pts
8th – 1pt

Was thinking the same thing even if its not my full system at least I can get a little better then the 134 lol.

Anyways can get me 6 runs of 0 gauge for $230

And he is getting me a price on a battery. And I am still saving up some cash for those subs. Soon enough tho lol. I got a month for preperation and havent even got a box started.

I am having troubles with money has i keep breaking sh*t lol you know about the sled and the speakers. Well I had to fix my Jetta door this week the handle broke and the lock broke setting me back some and this time I couldnt avoid the costs unlike the engine job on the sled and the speakers lol.

I swear its a real pain but I am tyring to sell my truck and income taxes for some extra cash on my system build and hopefuly something will come up soon but I am up for this car show for sure. I also posted it on VSR website.

As well as I met Des with the neon yesterday. He also invited me out to the meets in Pet. They were laughing at my request for 120 feet of 0 gauge.

Who's running the spl portion of this?

Is this rain or shine?

Is it $15 at the gate, plus $10 for the spl show?

Ya how much is this show all together for the bass portion? Is it inside or outside?

As far as i know it is outdoor. They will be using a TERMLAB for measuring, and it will be ran by my teammate Mat Romain.

I belive it is just 15 at the gate for car show OR SPL. or 30 for both, AT THE GATE. Pre registration is open as well.

Rain or shine, we have tents to cover the equipment.

Any questions i will ask and find out ASAP.
