DD 9512f recones
Getting a DD reconed is not to difficult if you go to DD direct for the recone.
Provide DD with pictures of your subwoofer from many different angles so they can determine what model it is for.
If you live in Canada. I have agreed to recone DD for people in Canada when its not covered under warranty, the warranty items I would still recommend sending it in to DD.
So if you don't feel safe reconing it yourself I can help and I have all the shims, glue, etc.

1. Did Tim recone the subs for you, did you do it yourself and if not then who reconed the subs for you?(meaning did the person know what they were doing)
2. Last year Tim sold a bunch of junk parts to MTA and maybe the parts that he sent you is the same sh#$.
3. Are you hooking up your equipment properly.
Answer the questions above and then people will be able to get a more clear umderstanding as to wtf is going on with your setup

tim reconed them twice himself, me and frank are doin them this time, these are new coils that i am getting, the system is hooked up properly, the first time i got them reconed was cuz u blew them, the second time was because i was playing music in a box with a .6 mach from the port and really high tuning with tooo low of a tone and just shredded the subs. and this time was just music too loud for tooo long with too lw of frequency

So then really and truly you have no one to blame but yourself then.
