Double Point in Creston BC
 

I am getting geared up for a 2 point show in September 2011, I have had some interest so I am wondering who's interested. We will probably be doing the following:
Build off -Subwoofer to be determined, amp to be determined -"Street Stock A?"
USACI , DB Drags , Bass Race , SQ.
This is a show for competitors, not Retailers, so I am thinking about a Saturday show???
Feedback is going to be appriciated. James will be able to host the show, and the quality of cars is awsome with more than 80 registered cars last year -(Hot rods -Tuners)
Let me know if this is something you'll come to so I can get an idea of numbers, and let me know what you normally compete in so I can prepare.

Sunday's would be better Bill, thats a long trip (some of us with walls and lots of weight in little cars have a hell of a time getting up hills (LOL) and with most people who work Saturday's that wouldn't allow us to show. If all works out and I can attend I'll be in.

agreed sundays the day for shows especially for all the guys who own shops or work in the industry saturdays will be out for those guys , also helps the out of towners who will be making the long hauls up to creston i will probably leave friday and be up there on saturday night if the shows on a sunday

OK, Sunday it is....
The Creston Cruisers have the whole weekend booked for camping and the main day for the show & shine is Sunday...There has been some people saying they would like a Saturday show, so I thought I would throw it out there.....

camping sounds like a great idea wouldnt mind to do some tenting maybee , this will be a great event as db drag points will be hard to come by this year this will help out all the guys wanting to go to finals so should have all the loud cars out

We'll be there again like I said, hows that idea of merging the show with other shops going??? hopefully everyone will play together :)

lol thats true but db drag will be hard to find this year with the exception of making a couple alberta trips , i know dales wanting to do a couple shows weather he would want to merge up with bills show im not sure would be cool to even make this a triple point show ive just added shok industries as one of my distrubutors so i dont mind brining some swagg

I guess Dale is away this week, I am trying to connect so we can get something going, and we are going to do a build off...Maybe Erin is interested....Gear to be determined but it works like this...
1 everyone who enters run in the Street Stock A catagory (Seperate catagory only for the people who have purchased the gear from an authorized store -TBD)
2 The gear (ie amp, sub and wiring kit) and the entery fee is included in the price.
3 Win the gear back for 1st place, 100 buck for 2nd, and 50 for 3rd....

It will really show off the placement, style, and size of box to make the most noise....I beleive it will really get some excitement back in the ammetur class, and the veterans can help out the rookies...

I did talk to James in length, if there are not too many shows this year maybe a 3 pointer would be something to look at??? I am trying to get full sponsorship from the creston community, which might be a good thing???? What would the interest be???

if anyone can give the input needed James is the guy to talk to, he's very creative in that manner, keep us posted Bill
