Personnally i think that having tones in ama classes may not be a good idea. how many of these newbies have a tones cd? Better yet how many of them have ever heard of it. How many competitors offered to help a newbie last year with the whole tones thing? I specifically remember last year on numerous occasions many competitors telling a newbie some b.s. when they were asked advice about what type of tone to play or where should they begin. I think music is the best thing that happened to ama class. Especially since some people are just too busy to point the newbie in the right direction.

The newbs that play music are going to get a score that is atleast 2 db down from their highest possible one. If we can come up with a standard disk with the tones for them then they will be happy.

This is always about you evertime. When have i ever said im the best or my show was the best never. My suggestion was for the next year that we should all come together with ideas we as in people who host shows and figure a way to increase attendance. The only thing you keep going back to is what you have done and what you gave away. Last thing did i not come and support your show like you came and supported mine yes i did i always try to make peace with you but you always have to be an a$$ when im just trying to help.
i dont think any changes are needed to the format of the competition.
HUGE changes are needed on the administrative side of things.
For example,
How come scores either never get posted or get posted 3 months later?
How come pictures never, ever, ever get posted?
No one knows how many points they have until the very end of the season.

If this is going to be the case for next year then might I suggest you start selling memberships alot more sooner than the very first show along with the disk? That way the new members who have never played with a test tones disk will have some time to do so. Otherwise they will come to the show not knowing what to do.
mike and i tried to keep on top of things this season, but one way or another everything kept getting messed up. If things are going to get bigger, better, and fairer (sp) there needs to be a TEAM heading up the league. Not 1 person taking care of everything. We tried this year, but it always ended up with a single person making the final call. Wayne cant run db drag on his own, he's got a team, the owner of iasca has a team, all org's have a team of ppl running it. Rich let us (me you mike and whoever else you think) be a team and run the org properly, keep proper records, and lets make next season the best yet! BTW 1 change im going to make myself, if im judging im not a competitor, im a judge. No conflict of interest anymore, and no emails or complaints from competitors or their families.

you got it... and it should stay as music... after all it is amateur...
I think the classes as a whole are pretty fair... maybe just get rid of some gray areas... as for seat removal, wall or no wall, battery, wire ect...
