were getting closer to the 2011 season so thought id ask and see what everyones plans were as far as hosting shows or competing , does anyone have any cool builds going ? , theres several shows coming up in the oregon/washington state , a few already in van just waiting to see what james and don have in store for us this year

ya, i got a cool build going.

1950 dodge ram shortbox groundpounder. most of the major bodywork is completed. i'll be starting a thread for all to see in the spring(when the weather gets better)with pics. i'll post a few pics of sep by step body/powertrain progress,but mostly focus on the stereo install

things done so far:

smooth body
installed 9" rear
mustang 11.02" disc br.
tilt/power st.
"tweaked" 383 bb dodge from '69 roadrunner/727a
fully tilt 1 piece front clip (that was a tough job)
roughed in 2 power bucket seats
finished outside body in red oxide primer 4 now

stereo system planned so far:

cd 5030 deck (have)
kicker 6.75" components(maby x2) (have) powered by rf 600a4
kicker 8" bidbass (1 for each door) (have) powered by pg m-100
either 2 12" kappa perfects(sealed,mounted under floor/flush,under each seat) or 2 12" kicker l7's mounted same way but ported(if there's enough room under truck) powered by t3 1000d's (have 3 total)
all stealth installed hopefully.

what do you guys think? not suppose to be a comp. winner, more like a daily driver/having fun ride

other route (possible) is go blowthrough, big,flush with boxsides box in back and get back into comp's for fun and..... looks! never intended to haul a thing in the back anyway. that'd be different eh??????

Still deciding on the speakers but amps are both JL slash 3004 and 5001, 2 12 ads a12s subs ported into the car through the rear speaker holes upgraded grounds, 0 gauge ect ect

 

Oh and an alpine processor, not the new one and not the imprint one. It's a bit older but I can't seem to remember the model number at the moment

 

I want to start building dual DCON 10 & 12's boxes to sell on the side.

I might be losing my car because I'm being sued for more than it's worth for something I didn't do. I was going to buy 8 DCON 10's to wall and an AQ 2200 (by selling my drums) but someone thought I'd pay their $1000 cell phone bill. Now I need 4 new tires. The bullshit never ends.

Contemplating building a show style box out of some kinda of hard wood.(still aint got that far even lol) For street B , wont do amazing numbers but will look like somthing else if i get around to it. my car isnt high # friendly

time will tell.
