I would say the show was good. But they should have let IASCA and DB Drag do there own thing. The SQ part should have been a one day event and not streched out into two. And the awards should have been given out in the SQ area when the sound portion was finished. I dont think many people hung around to pick up their plaque.

it woukld have been nice to have a 3rd place like usual... a few upsets there only awarding 1st & 2nd...especiallyu when they paid $80 entry fee... yes I understand its expensive to do 3x...but come on.. get realistic

Hi guys,

I agree with what both of you have said. Just a note for those who didn't stick around for their "plaques"; I have them with me so email me (do not PM) your addresses and I will have them mailed to you.

Nick Cimino gave me some extra plaques from NOTB; I'm going to have new plates made up for all the third place competitors and I will give them to those competitors.

So if any of you know competitors that placed third, once again have them email me their addresses and I will mail them out a plaque as well.

I also want to thank Nick Cimino for all his hard work. Even though it may not have been what we expected, he worked his a$$ off to try and bring us a top notch show; he did the best he could with what he had. Mad props to you my friend! You have a big heart for this sport and I for one appreciate all you did for us!

And, if anyone knows who punked my IASCA banner from the trailer, I would certainly appreciate any info you can send me. I hope whoever "borrowed" it has the decency to return it...

hey Nick thanx for putting on a good show an the others that you communicated with to make it a success... the trophy thing...well you know I personally dont need more of them...but as you could understand some of the newer guys that worked their butts off and that needed to be deeply persuaded to come to the show welll some were quite dissappointed not to receive their trophy/plaque for placing 3rd.. now that it has been brought to light what happened the smiles have come back and they plan on continuing to support the industry and play the sport we all love

thanx again
