Hi new here, need help....

Hi, I'm new to this forum and Canada. I recently moved up from St.Lucia (Caribbean) to Mississauga and am curretly looking to educate myself on the car audio scene here. In St.Lucia I had my own install/retail business, working out of my home of course and i've been a car audio enthusiast for like 11 years, and been selling and installing for 4 years, all through hands on experience. Been involved in only one sound off, and won (crazy a*% setup)...
Anyway I'm looking for a job in this field in my area or GTA and would like some ideas of places i can check, etc. All your help is welcomed. Also if you'll can provide recommendations of instituions i can attend to get better certified (later on). Thanx for all your time and help....

I am going to respond because 9 other people decided to look and not say anything. Anyways, here we go. If I were you I would look in the phone book and find the local dealers that are looking for extra help. I can recommend some dealers but I have no idea if you have a car or if you are willing to travel to work. Just call around and check out the stores that are close to you and go from there.

personally..i just moved up here to..i'm from Trinidad..and i'm as much of a car audio freak...what i did however was contact a distributor..and i was offered two options..one to be a sales rep...or 2...to be a dealer..i'm now a dealer..i suggest looking into the products you're familiar with..and what you know are good products...and you don't need a store front to be a dealer you just need some demo vehicles..but i haven't dealt with alot of products ..so i suggest that it might be good to try to locate some distributors or go directly to the maufacturer....but it all depends on how much money you have to invest and stuff like that...but think about it..you can make alot of money..
