If there was a comp in Windsor would you go?
Joel is looking for more skanky white girls than he can handle.
^^^ he speaks the truth. You forgot the most strip clubs per population. They don't call windsor sin city for nothing, lol. Come down the night before if you want Joel, we'll find somewhere for ya to sleep.
As for trying to get the locals to come... Ultimately, this IS for the locals. We would just like to see some active competitors show up and show off too.
Give people a chance to see what can be done, without hurting their egos too bad, lol.
We just want to ensure EVERYONE has a good time and get local people into competing again. Thats our end goal. If we can get even one person to compete actively, or someone to run out and upgrade their equipment or enclosure, or want to know when the next show is, then the show was a success.
Interest in "competition grade" equipment is dying, and so is the sport of competing. There are fun formats and ones that people take very serious. There is fun in SQ/SPL somewhere for everyone, we are trying to get Windsor into shows with formats they might not have heard of before. There's SO much more to competition then just being loud.
Many people don't even know that people compete with their stereos...
So, this will be TDS first show. Local business' seem to be helpful in making this show a success. I hope we will see some CCA competitors there.
