If you want to go to visions and pay the 1000 make sure justin is the one doing it because they have a couple other installers that arnt as experienced as him. and if you havent talked to joe over at J&A then this is the number 564-3616. i would recomend going to see J&A though. the wait will be a bit longer but worth it in my oppinion. ohhh yeah I forgot to mention that joe is now working at J&A now not Visions

 

Nope, i'll be buying my own 1/0 wireing kit, and as for the cleansweep thats not included in the price, and i wouldnt go witht he JL i'd probably go witht he RF . BUt ya.. 1000 bucks.. futureshop estimated around 480 bucks. I wish i was more electronic savvy and i'd just try to do it myself, but i'm not.

 

do you have the RF peice yet cause if you are there is a good chance visions wont put it in. i used to work there and we wouldnt install them.

 

i work at visions in prince george and no we will not install the rf peice but i do not no who quoted you $1000 but i can do it for less if you have your own wire u are looking at about 300-400 for the amp and high level depending on what peice you use im not working for a week or so but go in and talk to justin he is verry fair and will tell you exactly what you are looking at just be sure u talk to justin cause he is the only one there who can tell u for sure

umm the guys working at the car audio section at the time i went to go ask, they quoted me 1000 for wiring, a d about 3500 totall for install if i wanted a box built and so on. 300-400 is very fair, and yes i'll be providing the wire. I'm just waiting for when i go back home and bring my vehicle back. and i will come back and get in touch with you or justin.

 

they can install the RF peice but dont like to because they have had issues with them so they just dont. they charge around 200-400 for a mdf box and upwords of 1000 for a fiberglass one. normally it would be about 450 for a amp and the RF unit or the cleansweap

 

justin can install the rf peice he just doesnt like to use equipment that he thinks is going to create more problems then good he would prefer to use a peice from the store that is going to benafit you the best and is going to work the best in that aplication but if u decide that is absolutly what u want to use chances are he can install it but im just worried because it is not a peice that we sell and if we do run in to any problems because of the unit (not saying we will) all the warnty or diagnostic time will be on ur dime only if it is a problem with the unit though but we can talk a little more about that when u come in my name is darren by the way and be sure to talk to me or justin only i dont want anyone else to mislead u

cca_newbie, is the 450 for install + the cleansweep, or the cleansweep will be on top of that. I should start looking around online for one, if they are more comfortable with the JL

 

thats not including the cleansweap but if you talk to justin or darren they might beable to give you a better price go in and talk to them for sure
