Id still stick with those over the PPI pro audio. 100%. They just need lots of power to really shine. And lots of power means lots of batts.

By lots I mean 6k+ clamped power per woofer

the cars built for iasca , yet falls into db drag , i guess winning the overall north american title in my iasca class is weak , and loosing by 2.8 db to a van with 8 amps and 2 18s in the final round of drag finals is weak to , dustin maybe you should look in the mirror before you go running your mouth **edited** its real easy making fun of somone elses score hiding behind a computer making up crap all the time , your a real winner

 

I completely blew the woofer up seperating the spyder and melting the tinsel leads of the woofer, I had double the rms power going to it and running 18 volts of battery power. Thats more then enough power and more then enough voltage. The XXX-18 is not the woofer it claims to be. PERIOD .....

 

Luke you don't need to prove yourself to no one, just like his comment on the XXX-18 he posted to me, telling me I need so and so ammounts of power to make the woofer work and lots of batteries. If it was me posting, I'd ask what I was running for power and batteries instead of assuming what I need to do and what I need to know to make the woofer work.

 

steve if u need recones i can get you some cheap , my buddy scott also makes custom recones , so if you need some please dont hesitate to ask i can get them for you at cost
