Sask Shops?

guys i am looking for help to locate shops in saskatoon and regina as well as surrounding areas.

i know audio warehouse and audio express... in saskatoon
i also know audio warehouse has their other locations throughout sask.

are there any other good installers out there? this is the best place to ask because most of you guys are hardcore audio guys. and know good shops when u have dealt with them

i am running Project management for a very large company .. and we build our install network of using independent and big box retails to do Fleet and customer installs.

We have a big project in the works right now.. i am actually flying into saskatoon tonight. and spending the week out in sask. completing the pilot installs working along side one of our shops.

i would like to visit as many shops as possible to get some feedback and meet these guys face to face. if this project goes live we are looking at numerous installs in a short time period.

this is an opportunity to do mulitple installs and we have alot of western work with very little installer base.

thanks

Keith

Sadly I dont think yorkton and area has ANY good installers, as I have fixed a few jobs for ppl I know out here. The toon has some good installers as does regina, but I dont know names or contacts off hand, as I dont get out much:p This sounds like a great opportunity if you open shop out here, I really hope you look into yorkton, cuz I wont even go in audio warehouse there, as I dont care for the boring boards, same alpine equipment, and not that great a price point. All I have seen out here, is alpine type S subs in cars, and kenwood and eclipse amps and subs, which there all reputable product, but there needs to be some change out here:)

I know a great installer, one of the best. I'm not sure if he is actually taking on any projects but he's worth a shot. Pm me a contact number and I'll forward it to him. He is reputable and many know him.

Is this solicitation for mobile electronics installation, ie electronics being installed into automobiles?

No Paul, i am out in sask trying to get an idea of how many install shops there are and visit each one. we arent looking for anyone to do installs. i am building a map of shops throughout canada of installers and their skill levels, experience.

more of a survey :)

thanks
Keith

Seems somewhat contradictory and vague. Vague usually equals something not straight up. After doing a little research on Cogeco (telecommunications conglomerate similar to Rogers or Shaw), I am interested in how this is for anything mobile audio related.

How about you give some more details? :)

Dukk, i am the Canadian ProTeam Manager for InstallerNet, i do all the project management for all our jobs in Canada.

InstallerNet is a very large US based company. they do alot of different things ranging from install cards packaged in products from many manuf, they do the vehicle fit guides online for crutchfield, newegg, metra, sony, bestbuy along with others.
they also have MAID (installation excellence) and TSS software for running your business.

they also own MERA (Mobile Electronics Retailers Association)

the fleet business we work with the manuf and clients.. they need installs everywhere in north america for fleet and company installs. we have our network of dealers who do work for us. we profile, test, and make sure these shops are good the network before we bring them onboard, this is called profiling. your profile and your customers reports on your installs, shop and customer service give you a grade in our system. the better grade the better chance u have of getting more work when its available in your area.

Right now i am finishing a pilot project in saskatoon and Regina as well profiling shops to put on our network of installers.

once on our network when work comes into the region we call them and get them out to the jobsite to complete the work.

right now i am out here because we are finishing a pilot that will lead to a few hundred installs. as well we have pilots in BC and other areas on the go as well.

We dont have alot of coverage in western canada, because of the distance factors with some of our projects.

seem to sum it up for you sir?

Ps. the cogeco email is my internet provider from home.. its my BB email account and always accessible to me for 10yrs now

thanks
Keith
